The scheme involved the following work elements:
- Safe digging practices to locate live services for jointing of new cables
- Demolition of existing control room floor and trenches
- Construction of new control service trench and floor slabs
- Core drilling of new ducts through control room walls
- Construction of new reinforced transfer slabs and bund walls
- Installation of aqua sentry bund pumps
- Backfilling of jointing bays and transformer chippings
- Installation of transformer palisade fencing
- External works including flagging, kerbing, tarmacking, lockable bollard installation
